Suzanne J. Pesce MD

Dr. Pesce comes from a family of caregivers. Medicine has always been a part of her dreams. She graduated from Dartmouth College as a mathematics major and continued on to medical school in Washington, DC at George Washington University School of Medicine. Her residency in ophthalmology was completed at MedStar Health Georgetown/ Washing Hospital Center in 2000 and was board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2001. Since then, she has provided care in both academic and private practices. Dr. Pesce taught residents as an assistant clinical professor at both the University of Rochester and Duke University before moving to Philadelphia area in 2007. She saw patients at Bloom Eye Associates in the Roxborough area of Philadelphia for 13 years. Dr. Pesce joined Riddle Eye Associates part time in 2016 and became full time in 2022

 

Dr. Pesce is a comprehensive ophthalmologist providing medical and surgical management of diseases of the eye, with a focus on cataract surgery. She prides herself in listening to the patient and believes that medical car is most successful when the doctor and patient work together as a team. She firmly believes that educating her patients about the eye and about their eye disease helps ensure the best outcomes for maintaining vision.

 

Outside of the office, Dr. Pesce has two children, two dogs, and two cats that fully occupy her free time. Spending time outdoors and traveling help keep balance in her life
