Anthony Antonello
Anthony Antonello, M.D. joined Riddle Eye Associates in 1989. As a board certified ophthalmologist, He practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a special interest in cataract and cataract surgery. He completed medical school at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and residency training in ophthalmology at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV in 1989.
” To me there is no profession more noble than that of medicine because it allows you to serve the health needs of people and improve their quality of life. This is why I entered the field of health care. After earning my medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, I wanted to specialize in something that would combine the aspects family medicine and surgery, and this led me to ophthalmology. I enjoy interacting with my patients and helping them overcome their vision problems.”
Dr, Antonello’s commitment to his community goes beyond ophthalmology. He is a concerned, involved citizen. HE takes part in many local activities and is involved in his church. In his spare time Dr. Antonello coaches youth baseball.
In addition to Riddle Memorial Hospital, Dr. Antonello is on staff at Fair Acres Geriatric Center and Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, PA. Dr. Antonello is the current Chief-of-Ophthalmology at Riddle Memorial Hospital.
