Peter Palena, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Palena has been with Riddle Eye Associates since 1989. Prior to that time, Dr. Palena was practicing ophthalmology for approximately 20 years in partnership with Dr. Edward A. Jaeger at the Media Clinic in Media , PA and at Riddle Memorial Hospital . As a board certified ophthalmologist, he practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a special interest in retinal diseases and diabetes. Having completed medical school and his ophthalmology residency training at Jefferson Medical College , Dr. Palena received a retinal fellowship from Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia , Pa in 1970.
In addition to Riddle Eye Associates, Dr. Palena is a Clinical Professor and on staff at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Wills Eye Hospital and as a consulting ophthalmologist at Fair Acres Geriatric Center in Lima , PA.
